Daniel Brown
Dr. Daniel Brown is a band director in the Tucson Unified School District at Borman K-8 and Banks K-6. He is also instructor of tuba and euphonium at Pima Community College. Dr. Brown earned his DMA in tuba performance with a minor in music in general education from the University of Arizona. He also holds a MM in tuba performance from Pennsylvania State University and a BA in music from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. As part of “Las Tubas de Tucson,” Dan was a first prize award winner in the Tuba Euphonium Quartet competition at the 2010 International Tuba Euphonium Conference. He has also been a finalist at the Falcone Festival. In addition to his duties as a music educator, Dan also performs in local groups like the Sierra Vista Symphony Orchestra (tuba), Old Pueblo Brass Band (baritone), Chuparosa Brass (tuba) and Rezonators Brass Band (sousaphone). When not playing or teaching music, Dr. Brown enjoys reading comics (especially Spider-Man and Wolverine), cooking with Lisa (his wife) and playing with Peanut (his dog).

Rachel Clemmer
Rachel Clemmer is a trumpeter with years of experience as both a performer and educator. She earned her BM in Music Performance from the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University and MM in Music Performance from the School of Music at the University of Arizona, where she served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Rachel is an active freelancer and has performed with various ensembles in Southern Arizona including the Arizona Opera, Tucson Symphony Orchestra, True Concord Orchestra and Voices, Tucson Pops Orchestra, Monsoon Brass Quintet, Chuparosa Brass Quintet, and Adele Live 2016. When not performing or teaching private
lessons, Rachel enjoys soaking up the Arizona sunshine with her partner, two dogs, and horses.

Mike Mesner
Michael Mesner has been playing Third Horn with the Tucson Symphony since 2021. His musical career has led him to perform across the United States, as well as in Europe and Asia. Since arriving in Tucson, he has performed with many local ensembles, including True Concord Voices and Orchestra, Arizona Opera, Monsoon Brass, and the Tucson Pops Orchestra. Michael has a great passion for chamber music, and has significant experience playing in various chamber ensembles including wind quintet, brass quintet, and horn ensembles of all shapes and sizes.

Jordan Robison
Relocating to Tucson in 2015 to pursue doctoral studies at The University of Arizona, Jordan Robison thrives off the rich culture of music and arts in Southern Arizona. You can regularly catch him in diverse performance settings as principal trombone of the Sierra Vista Symphony Orchestra, bass trombone with the Century Jazz Orchestra, and even solo euphonium with the Old Pueblo Brass Band, among various other local orchestras, musical theater pits, and horn sections. He also maintains a robust private teaching studio for brass players of any level, from communities all across the desert. Jordan holds an M.M. and a Professional Performance Certificate from the Lynn University Conservatory of Music in Boca Raton, Florida, as well as a B.M. from the University of Redlands at his hometown in Southern California.
